On February 8, around 11:00 p.m., the Russian military shelled private houses with heavy artillery in Nikopol. A 35-year-old local resident who received a shrapnel wound to the neck died as a result of the impact. At the time of the projectile's arrival, the man was sleeping in bed in his house.
Also, more than 16 private houses suffered significant destruction - facades, roofs, walls, and windows were damaged. Gas stoves, outbuildings, fences, garages were destroyed in the yards, and one car was also damaged.
Investigative teams are currently working at the sites of the hits. Law enforcement officers of Nikopol are documenting the consequences of Russian war crimes, conducting an inspection of the area and collecting physical evidence of Russian aggression. Earlier, we reported that 4,045 houses were damaged in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast due to shelling.
