Ukraine lost a defender from Nikopol. On December 25, Andriy Alekseevets from Nikopol died in the Bakhmut direction. The farewell ceremony took place in Nikopol's Kalnyshevsky temple. Members of his family, friends, colleagues, and acquaintances came to see the Ukrainian soldier on his last journey. Nikopol City writes about it.

Andriy Alekseevets was born on January 12, 1979. He had combat experience, because in 2014 he participated in the anti-terrorist operation. With the beginning of the large-scale invasion, he volunteered for territorial defense, and later joined the ranks of the Armed Forces.

He served as a senior sergeant of the 17th separate Kryvyi Rih tank brigade named after Kostiantyn Pestushka. We express our condolences to the family of the fallen soldier.
