Shelling of Nikopol and Synelnyk district: details from the prosecutor's office

On September 21 and 22, the occupiers shelled the Nikopol and Synelnyk districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Local residents died due to enemy attacks. This was reported in the press service of the Dnipro regional prosecutor's office.

On the night of September 22, the Russian military launched artillery fire from multiple rocket launchers on Nikopol. A local resident died as a result of the enemy attack. Private and high-rise buildings, administrative buildings, a football field, hospitals, a local history museum, cafes, shops, cars, a local market, garages, gas pipelines and power lines were damaged.

On September 21, the Russian military shelled the Chervonogrigorivsk community with barrel artillery. As a result of enemy shelling, a local resident died, one man received shrapnel wounds. 21 private houses and commercial buildings were damaged.

The occupiers launched a rocket attack on a settlement in the Synelnyki district. The warehouse of the agricultural enterprise, in which more than 1,000 tons of wheat grain was stored, was damaged. There are no casualties among the civilian population. There are no military facilities in this area.

Under the procedural leadership of the Nikopol and Synelnyk District Prosecutor's Offices, pre-trial investigations are carried out in criminal proceedings based on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
