Russian Artillery Attack Causes Extensive Damage in Nikopol and Velikomychailov

On the morning and afternoon of October 2nd, the Russian military launched a devastating artillery assault on Nikopol, a city located in the Dnipro Region of Ukraine. This alarming development was officially announced by Serhiy Lysak, the head of the regional military administration, who provided grim details of the attack's aftermath.

Meanwhile, the nearby Velikomychailov commune in the Sinelnytsk Oblast also found itself under heavy artillery fire, unleashed by Russian Federation troops. The consequences of this assault were deeply concerning, and rescue teams were swiftly dispatched to assess the extent of the damage caused by this attack.

As the day progressed into evening, a military PC known as "East" successfully intercepted and destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). However, this victory came at a cost, as the debris from the downed UAV sparked a fire in the Dnipro area. Fortunately, firefighters quickly mobilized and managed to extinguish the blaze, preventing further destruction.

The Velikomychailov commune in the Synelny region faced a similar ordeal in the evening, once again experiencing heavy artillery bombardment. As with Nikopol, rescue teams were immediately deployed to evaluate the consequences of this attack, emphasizing the ongoing challenges faced by the affected communities.

Amidst these challenges, Ukrainian troops remained vigilant. They successfully intercepted and destroyed yet another UAV in the evening, although, regrettably, this action resulted in another fire in the Dnipro area due to falling debris. Once again, the rapid response of dedicated firefighters played a crucial role in containing the fire and minimizing its impact on the region.
