Attacks on Belgorod continue, one house on fire

Recently, the Russian Belgorod region bordering Ukraine has been subject to regular attacks. Sabotage actions in cities along the border are believed to be carried out by organizations such as the Legion "Freedom of Russia" Russian Volunteer Corps, and Siberian Battalion. Attacks on the Belgorod region: "Ten missiles destroyed"

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that ten missiles from the RM-70 Vampire multiple launch rocket system were destroyed over the Belgorod region. It is worth noting that the Czechs supplied modified launchers of this type to Ukraine. "Ten missiles were destroyed in the air over the Belgorod region by air defense systems," the report said.

Russian side: One person injured in the attack

According to Interfax, preliminary findings indicate that one person was injured in the attack - a woman suffered burns to her hand. Eighteen private households were damaged. According to the governor, water supply lines were also damaged. Since March 11, the Belgorod region and neighboring municipalities have been under attack.

The Russian side describes these attacks as "intensive" and reports casualties. "People are being evacuated from the most heavily shelled neighborhoods to temporary accommodation centers in safe areas of the region, and are also being evacuated from the Belgorod region. For safety reasons, children are being evacuated to other regions of the Russian Federation," militarynews.ru reports. Belgorod region: Governor Gladkov orders unprecedented evacuation of thousands of children

Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov ordered distance learning in Belgorod and border municipalities until the end of the school year. The decision applies to municipalities in the Belgorod region and parts of the Kursk region.

Restrictions in the vicinity of Belgorod will also affect trade - only centers and shops built with solid bricks and whose employees are trained in first aid will remain open. The Russian administration evacuated five thousand children from the Belgorod region. The governor announced on his Telegram channel that children were transported to St. Petersburg, Bryansk, and Makhachkala, among other places.

Radio Svoboda reported that in recent weeks, Belgorod and neighboring Russian towns have been shelled by the Ukrainian army in retaliation for bombings of Ukrainian cities.

Volunteers from the Freedom of Russia Legion attack Belgorod

Recall that on the night of March 11 to 12, Russian anti-Putin legions operating within the Ukrainian army announced that they had crossed the border of the Russian Federation.

Russian volunteer units fighting on the Ukrainian side had earlier announced attacks on Belgorod and Kursk.

They wrote that their target would be military infrastructure used for attacks on Ukraine. Earlier, these units had crossed from Ukraine into the territories of neighboring regions of the Russian Federation.
