The Russian army attacked Nikopol and the district: they hit hotels and private houses

In the morning of May 23, the invaders targeted the district with heavy artillery. The communities of Nikopol, Marganetska and Myrivska were under enemy attack. The aggressor fired with heavy artillery. People were not injured. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk.

A hotel and 6 private houses were damaged in Nikopol. 4 outbuildings were gutted, one was destroyed. Broken gas pipeline.

In the evening, the enemy also attacked Myrivsk community. The information is being clarified.

The police documented shelling of the city of Nikopol, Marganetska and Myrivska communities. All the consequences of the Russian attacks are currently being established. This was reported by the press service of the Nikopol district police department.

On May 23, enemy artillery covered Nikopol and two villages on the territory of the community with fire. Most of the destruction was caused to the district center.

Damaged objects of civil infrastructure: the building of a non-working cafe-hotel, private houses, utility buildings and gas supply lines. One farm building was completely destroyed.

Luckily, there was no damage in Myrivska and Marganetska communities.
