In Nikopol, they said goodbye to Serhii Sova: the body of the 36-year-old hero was found at the place of a mass burial in Izyum

Today, September 23, they said goodbye to the fallen soldier Serhiy Sova in Nikopol. A senior soldier of the 93rd "Kholodny Yar" brigade died heroically defending the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. This was reported in the press service of the Nikopol City Council.

Since April 19, Serhiy Sova was in the status of missing person, he was wanted for 5 months. The soldier's body was found in Izyum during the exhumation of bodies at the mass burial site.

The deceased soldier was recognized by his wife Oksana thanks to his tattoos. The photo of Sergei's hand with a blue-yellow bracelet, which was seen all over the world, became a symbol of the crimes of the Russian occupiers. In Nikopol, the fighter left his wife and two children — a 9-year-old daughter Elina and a 14-year-old son Marat.

Family members, friends, colleagues, comrades-in-arms and caring citizens of Nikopol came to see the hero-defender on his last journey.
