69 tablets for schoolchildren were transferred from Korea to Nikopol

The other day it was reported that Nikopol received 69 tablets for schoolchildren. The gadgets were provided to Ukraine by the Government of the Republic of Korea. This became possible within the framework of the cooperation program with the Ministry of Education and Science. This was reported by the press service of the Nikopol city council, Informator reports. It is known that the tablets were received by the Department of Education and Science of the Nikopol City Council.

For almost a year now, Nikopol's schoolchildren have been forced to study remotely. Now the issue of digitalization of the educational process is very relevant. In 2022, teachers of Nikopol twice received laptops and Chromebooks. And now our city has received 69 tablets for school students. Valentina Safonova, the head of the department of education and science of the city council, told about it.

According to her, gadgets for temporary use will be given to children of the following social categories who are in Nikopol. Tablets will receive:

• children deprived of parental care;
• children with disabilities;
• orphans;
• children whose parents are defending Ukraine at the front or died in the war;
• children from large families, etc.
