About 30 shells flew over Nikopol at night: details from the prosecutor's office

On October 4, the enemy once again shelled Nikopol. In one of the high-rise buildings, four apartments on the top two floors were destroyed. More than three dozen residential buildings, shops, a school, an administrative building, and cars were mutilated. People were hurt. This was reported by the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Dnipro region.

According to the investigation, on the night of October 4, 2022, enemy troops launched artillery fire from multiple rocket systems on Nikopol. As a result, four men born in 1956, 1972, 1973, 1994 received shrapnel injuries.

More than 20 private and high-rise buildings, shops, a school, an administrative building, cars, power lines and water pipes were damaged.

In addition, in the morning, the occupiers fired rockets at the Pokrovsky community of the Synelnyk district. The infrastructure of the agricultural enterprise, agricultural machinery was damaged.

Night attack on Nikopol: more than 30 high-rise and private buildings were damaged

Under the procedural leadership of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office and the Synelnyk District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is carried out in criminal proceedings based on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The night in Nikopol was spent in anxiety, with shelling. More than 30 high-rise and private buildings are known to have been damaged. In one of the high-rise buildings, 4 apartments were destroyed. There were no victims, 4 people were injured. The information is still being clarified. This became known from the operational Telegram channel of Nikopol.

Shelling in Nikopol damaged a school, a pharmacy, an industrial enterprise, a grain elevator, shops and administrative buildings.

Power lines are damaged. In connection with emergency and restoration work on DTEK networks, water supply to the city and nearby villages has been suspended. We continue to eliminate the consequences of shelling.
