More than 16,000 babies were born in the Dnipro Oblast during the year. All of them were born during the war.
In 2022, more than 16,000 babies were born in the Dnipro region. There are slightly more boys than girls. This was reported by the Informator, referring to the press service of the Dnipro Regional State Administration.
The year 2022 gave Dnipropetrovsk Oblast 16,053 children. Almost 13.5 thousand babies were born since the beginning of the war. Of them, 7,065 are boys and 6,393 are girls.
It turned out to be a generous year for twins. 48 of them were born in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. And two couples became parents of triplets. On New Year's Eve, four babies were born in the region. These are two girls and two boys.
