Bakhmut. Successes of The Armed Forces: "They cut off the enemy's "crush" hanging over the city

To the north and south of Bakhmut, the Ukrainian military continues to put pressure on the Russians and drive them out of the previously captured borders, said Andrii Kovalev, spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces. Military expert Serhiy Zgurets adds: “There are actions taking place there, which will become the basis for optimistic conclusions.”

The spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Kovalev noted that the defenders are not reducing the pressure on the enemy north and south of the city of Bakhmut.

“The occupiers are being knocked out of previously captured borders, they have partial success, they are entrenched on the borders they have reached. The enemy is putting up fierce resistance, suffering huge losses. Heavy fighting is going on here,” he told the Military Media Center.

Director of the information and consulting company Defense Express, Serhii Zgurets drew attention to the fact that battles are taking place around Bakhmut, and information from the General Staff has become less. In his opinion, this indicates that in some areas, there are actions that will become the basis for good news.

“It should be noted that the fighting continues around Bakhmut, where the “klyshna” that hangs from the north and south is cut off. The advance of our troops in the direction of Berkhivka and Klishchiivka continues. Yesterday we saw the good work of the 22nd artillery brigade of the ZSU, where they destroyed the enemy in landing in front of Klishchiivka. Klishchiivka has now become such a city, where the enemy maintains a powerful stronghold in the forest belt. There are active combat operations from our side” Zgurets emphasized.

Bakhmut: the situation escalated again

On the evening of July 3, Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Malyar reported that the Russian invaders tried to advance in the direction of Bakhmut, but to no avail. At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces had “certain success”. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are advancing with battles on the southern flank of Bakhmut, in the area of ​​Klishchiivka. Meanwhile, fighting continues on the northern flank.

The official emphasizes: the situation is changing very rapidly. “Control over the same positions can be lost and regained twice a day. The enemy actively reacts to all our actions and creates three lines of defense in threatening directions” added the deputy minister of defense.
