An hour before the New Year, the occupiers ransacked Nikopol: a 48-year-old woman was injured

On December 31, at 11:00 p.m., the enemy attacked Nikopol and the area with anti-aircraft guns and heavy artillery. The occupiers fired about two dozen shells into the city. We kissed on residential buildings. A 48-year-old woman was injured as a result of the attacks. She was given the necessary help and will be treated at home. On the night of January 1, the attacks continued. In the morning, the head of the Dnipro Regional Council, Mykola Lukashuk, and the head of the Dnipro Regional State Administration, Valentin Reznichenko, announced the details.

Enemy "Hradi" and heavy artillery deliberately hit the residential quarters precisely during the holiday hours. Two communities were targeted - Chervonogrigorivka and Nikopol.

At least 20 shells landed in Nikopol. One of them caused a fire in a nine-story building. A 48-year-old woman received shrapnel and burn injuries to her eyes - she was taken to the hospital. The woman was discharged in the morning.

In Nikopol, a high-rise building was mutilated, out of two dozen buildings, including five-story buildings, private houses and farm buildings. Shops, pharmacies, a polyclinic, a car, and power lines also came under enemy fire. One fire in the apartment was extinguished by rescuers.

In addition, enemy attacks continued at night on January 1. The occupiers were caught in the Chervonogrihorivka community as well. There were no casualties, the consequences are being clarified.
