In addition to transporting the bodies to the Crimea, “the occupiers continue to use the traditional Russian practice of depriving the families of the fallen (due) reliefs and compensations advertised by propaganda. For this purpose, they actively use mobile crematoria,” the general staff of the Ukrainian army said.

One such crematoria “works 24 hours a day in the port of Berdyansk,” the staff said, adding that almost 50 bodies of fallen military personnel were taken from the battlefield to the local morgue. No one has identified them.
