The government allocated 2.3 billion hryvnias to provide water to Dnipro region and three other regions

The government allocated funds to overcome the dire consequences of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP. Of these, 1.5 billion hryvnias will be allocated to the construction of two new water mains for large cities.

Another 846 million hryvnias will be used to provide drinking water to residents of four regions. These funds are allocated from the Recovery Fund. This is reported by Dnipro Informator.

This is necessary to provide drinking water to Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol and Marhanets. In addition, we are allocating almost UAH 846 million to the Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions to meet their drinking water needs, - Prime Minister Shmyhal wrote.

He added that the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko is at the head of the work to eliminate the consequences of the Russian terrorist attack on the Kakhovskaya HPP.

We are creating a headquarters for liquidation of the consequences, which will include ministers, their deputies, heads of central executive bodies and representatives of state-owned enterprises, - Shmyhal said.

Earlier, Nikopol mass media reported on the danger of infectious diseases that arose as a result of the disaster at the Kakhovskaya HPP. Also, the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant pond retains the water level that was before the Kakhovskaya HPP dam was blown up.
