SANA: Japanese visual-kei singer conquers the stage with a tour of Ukraine

A true unifier of cultures and musical trends is SANA Takiza - a Japanese visual kei singer, guitarist and songwriter. His unique style and skill captivate music lovers from all over the world, especially in Ukraine, where he has the most fans. Thanks to the creative influence of the Luna Sea band, SANA has built its own musical path.

In 2023, SANA will go on a tour of Ukraine under the name “Wish Upon a Star Hope Future Tour”, and organizes it Hebi Hebi Agency, which are known for creating festivals and events. We are waiting for Summer Anime&K-pop Fest in 21 cities of Ukraine! A significant part of the funds from the festival will go to charity organizations.

What do we know about SANA?

SANA is a Japanese Visual Kei singer born on June 18. He gained wide popularity as a solo artist and member of the band Kαin. By creating his unique music and style, he wins the hearts of fans from all over the world. SANA received creative influence from the famous band Luna Sea.

In 1998, he left his hometown to start a music career in Tokyo. His first musical experience was with the band "Lusid" in 2001. In 2003, SANA joined the band "MASK", but a year later the band members broke up. This forced SANA to start a solo career. He signed a contract with "LOOP ASH" and released his first solo mini album "Hitoribochi" on August 31st.

Over time, SANA became even more popular thanks to his participation in the group "Kαin" and their debut album "Re: Birth". He also formed the duet "Seiyou meet Visual Kei" with singer-actor Kazuki Yao. Together, they performed at "Roppongi" and went to a Hawaiian concert in Honolulu, which became a big event for SANA – his first concert abroad.

SANA has many hobbies, such as modern painting and kickboxing. He also showed an interest in languages and cultures, going to South America to learn English and get new inspiration for his work. 

SANA's discography includes a long list of singles and EPs: "Silver", "Hitoribochi", "Eclipse", "ism" and "Three words for...". Each of his works is a unique combination of styles and emotions that inspires listeners.

Tour "Wish upon a Star hope future tour" brought SANA to Ukraine with new songs, where his fans will have the opportunity to enjoy an unparalleled musical gift and, according to the singer himself, will feel hope for a normal life even despite the war. Each SANA concert is a unique show that will be remembered forever. He prays for peace in Ukraine and dreams of sharing his emotions and music with the Ukrainian audience. After all, he has been traveling with concerts in Ukraine since 2014 and is very worried about the fate of the country he fell in love with.
