— The more freedom we have, the more guarantees that our enemy will bear responsibility for Bykivnia, Bucha, Katyn and Smolensk - said Volodymyr Zelensky at the Warsaw Royal Castle. He enumerated the cities to which he is grateful for hosting refugees. In turn, Andrzej Duda decided that Zelenskiy is a hero of the free world. — But for us, above all, a great friend of Poland - he added. 

Zelensky reminded that Ukrainians and Poles “have known each other for a long time.” — Now, in the heart of the Polish capital, Ukrainian hearts turn to all Polish hearts; it's a great honor for me to be here,” said the Ukrainian president.

He addressed the words of “gratitude and strength” to those gathered in the center of Warsaw. — Gratitude - because there are no more moments when we would be apart, when we would not be united. Ukrainian hearts beat for one freedom, for mutual independence, for our native Europe, our common home. We will win! - he said.

The President of Ukraine recalled that during his visit to Poland he was at Pilsudski Square, where in 1979 “the words of a great man, a great Pole, John Paul II, were spoken.”

- Turning to God, he said: "Let your Spirit descend and renew the face of the earth, this earth." Today it is obvious how generous the Lord is when he hears these words. Free Poland was created and will never fall. Free Ukraine has arisen and will never fall, he added.

The President of Ukraine also expressed his gratitude for the help of President Andrzej Duda and First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the Speakers of the Sejm and Senate, as well as people throughout Poland who “know what our freedom means for your freedom.”

He added that he is also grateful to everyone present in the courtyard of the Royal Castle in Warsaw, at Castle Square and to everyone throughout Poland who hears his words. — I am honored to be here today with my wife, stressed President Zelensky.

Volodymyr Zelensky: Justice will be a historic achievement for our generations

As the Ukrainian leader said, the more freedom we have, the more guarantees there will be for justice. — More guarantees that our common enemy will be responsible for Bykivnia, Bucza, for Katyn and Smolensk, he will be responsible for the rest of his life, here on earth and forever – he said.

He decided that justice would be “a historic achievement of our generations”, and that Ukrainians and Poles would go “shoulder to shoulder”.

According to the president of Ukraine, “human life is the highest value.” — We respect the memory and dignity of every human being, all those who lived before us. It is our mutual and absolute respect that will carry Polish and Ukrainian culture to the world, it will always carry it, because we have been saved for centuries by our unity, by our determination – he said at the Royal Castle.
