The prosecutor's office is investigating the attacks on Marhanets

On March 15, 2023, the armed forces of the Russian Federation shelled Marganets. The invaders hit the peaceful city with heavy artillery. This was reported by the press service of the Dnipropetrovsk regional prosecutor's office.

As a result of the attack, two women were killed, five more townspeople were injured. High-rise and private buildings, commercial buildings, a shop, and a lyceum dormitory were damaged. Priority measures are being taken to fix the crime committed by the army of the aggressor country.

Employees of the State Emergency Service and law enforcement officers of the region are working at the scene of the events. Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
