Nikopol is bombarded every day with Hrads, Hurricanes and heavy artillery. Recently, the occupiers started launching kamikaze drones.
In Nikopol, the townspeople go to the bomb shelters every night to spend the night. Or they use the rule of two walls and go to sleep in the corridors of their own houses. All because for more than three months the peaceful city has been a target for invaders from the opposite bank.
People told the Informator about the recent shelling of high-rise buildings. About how they live in the city now.
Nikopol is bombarded every day with "Hrads", "Hurricanes" and heavy artillery. Recently, the occupiers started launching kamikaze drones. The enemy is attacking a peaceful city under the cover of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. The shelling is chaotic and serves no purpose other than terror.
A local resident says that the windows in her house were broken, the balconies were broken, and the trees seemed to be cut down with an ax. After the shelling, a group of neighbors went out to clean up broken glass. The woman says that during times of alarm, she and her husband and old mother go to the shelter. But I really want to stay at home in a warm bed.
Local benefactors are helping the victims survive the winter. Knocked-out windows are closed with sheets of OSB and expanded polystyrene. These materials make a warm panel that will help keep the apartments warm. Calls for help have been coming in since the morning.
"From the beginning, we went down to the shelter, now my wife and I sleep in the corridor. We sleep, "Hradi" has passed, we called our relatives and continue to sleep. It's scary, but we have already overcome this fear and continue to do everything to win," - says the philanthropist.
